The city of Crofton has a Mayor/Council form of government. The mayor and city council members are elected for four-year terms. Council meetings are held on the first Monday of each month beginning at 7:30 p.m.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Thanks to the voter approval of LB840, the city of Crofton has established Economic Development under direction of the city council and a Tax Advisory Board. Currently the Economic Development coordinator is Linda Wuebben and she works closely with Toni Tauber, Economic Director for Knox County through the Knox County Development Agency.
