Patriotic painting Party to benefit Crofton's Q125 Celebration, Sunday, April 23rd at Wiebelhaus Recreation. Join local artist Kari Kollars for a painting party. Kids are invited to paint a fireworks scene at 10:30am and adults paint a patriotic town scene at 12:30. Paint supplies and canvas included. Buy tickets now at $30 for adults and $20 for kids at Wiebelhaus Recreation or by calling Kerri Konechne.

Crofton Q125 meets Tuesday, April 18th, 7:00pm at the Lewis & Clark Pulley Museum. Crofton Q125 Store is now open Saturday and Sunday mornings (except for Easter Sunday) from 9:30am - 1pm.

Geocaching: High Tech Scavenger Hunt; Join geocaching fun at Crofton's 125th Anniversary Cache Blast on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Over 70 new caches, each one sharing a bit of Crofton history. Opening registration will take place at the Lewis & Clark Pulley Museum at 105 W Main in Crofton. A breakfast buffet will be provided. Breakfast and registration will begin at 8:00am and caches will be released after.

Crofton Community School's Fine Arts Night is Tuesday, May 2nd. Doors open at 5pm with the concert starting at 7.

Crofton Community Blood Drive on Wednesday, May 3rd from12:30pm to 6:00pm at the Crofton Senior Center. Schedule your appointment online at www.lifeservebloodcenter.org or call 800-287-4903. This blood drive is sponsored by the Crofton Community.

St. Rose of Lima and St. Andrew Parish Mission with Steve Angrisano, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday April 23rd to the 24th at 7pm each night. This will be a spiritual celebration through song and prayer and is geared for the whole family - kids, teens, parents, and grandparents will enjoy this year's four-night mission retreat. Steve Angrisano is one of the most effective and versatile ministry leaders in the Church today. Those who are young and young at heart embrace the passionate message of faith, hope, and love woven throughout his music and storytelling.

It's CCC Golf tourney time!!
Just making sure you have it on your calendar.... We've contacted the golf course and asked that they reserve the course for Sunday, May 21.

Crofton Senior Center News:
Caregivers meeting the 12th at 1:30.
We are serving a Brunch on the 14th, Good Friday instead of a noon meal.
Home deliveries will start at 10 and 10:30 at the Center.
Board meeting is the 18th at 8:30 am.
April birthday luncheon and bingo on the 19th.
Health clinic on the 20th.
Tea Party on the 30th from 2 pm to 4 pm with a special speaker joining us.

Brothers of the Brush reminder: if you aren't growing a beard for the Q125 celebration, please pick up your shaving permit at the Q125 store in town.

WJ Ranch presents Pam Tillis, Friday, September 8th at 8pm. Remember Pam's hits like "Shake the Sugar Tree", "Maybe It Was Memphis", "Don't Tell Me What to Do" and many more. She will be appearing as the "Pam Tillis Acoustic Trio". This female trio brings outstanding musicianship, instrumentation, and fantastic harmonies.

There will be 3 divisions in the contest:
Division1: Men who start growing their beards on Feb.1, 2017 (If you started on Jan 1, 2017 we will allow this also)
Division 2: Men who have had a beard previous to Jan 1 or Feb 1, 2017 and want to continue growing them.
Division 3: Men who choose to shave. These folks are required to purchase a "Shaving Permit" button for $5.00 which must be worn when "out and about" in Crofton. If you do not wear your button you are subject to arrest by the "sheriff and his posse" and thrown in the klinger! A $5.00 fine must be paid either by the guilty party or a friend (or foe if that works) before the hombre is released. Crofton's Q125 Store is open Saturday mornings from 9am to 1pm.
