Crofton Community Blood Drive on Wednesday, May 3rd from 12:30pm to 6:00pm at the Crofton Senior Center. Schedule your appointment online at www.lifeservebloodcenter.org or call 800-287-4903. This blood drive is sponsored by the Crofton Community.

Geocaching: High Tech Scavenger Hunt; Join geocaching fun at Crofton's 125th Anniversary Cache Blast on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Over 70 new caches, each one sharing a bit of Crofton history. Opening registration will take place at the Lewis & Clark Pulley Museum at 105 W Main in Crofton. A breakfast buffet will be provided. Breakfast and registration will begin at 8:00am and caches will be released after.

Main Street Treasures is a non-profit thrift store operated by volunteers. The store will sell clothing, housewares, small furniture, small appliances, lawn & garden items, toys, baby stuff, hunting accessories, and other items. Proceeds will benefit the Crofton area. Main Street Treasures is taking donations now, Wednesday through Friday from 2-6pm and Saturdays from 9am to noon, at 111 W Main Street in Crofton. Consider volunteering with Main Street Treasures. ~Blood Drive here at the Center on Wednesday the 3rd from 1-6.
~Vial of Life and health clinic Thursday the 4th, 5:30.
~Sunday breakfast the 7th; serving from 8-noon pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages and we've added ham to the menu, biscuits & sausage gravy and applesauce.
~Caregiver's Support Group meets the 10th at 1:30. Raffle on Thursday evening the 11th, baskets, cash, art work, just in time for Mother's Day.
~May birthday luncheon and Bingo on Wed., 17th.

The Crofton Alumni invitations are mailed out for the 52nd Annual Crofton High School Banquet Saturday July 1. All 5 years classes will be honored with reserved seating. If you are looking for a Mother's Day present or graduation gift stop by and check out all the souvenirs available. Cookbooks always make a great gift. Second annual Father/Daughter dance will be on June 9th, 6:30 to 9:00 pm at City Auditorium. Get your parade entry forms in as soon as possible. They are due by June 1. Crofton Q125 Store is now open Saturday and Sunday mornings from 9:30am - 1pm.

Crofton's Q125 Committee encourages you to start looking for your pioneer clothing for the celebration. If you have extras, please consider donating them to Main Street Treasures so that others can use them.

Crofton Community Club's Annual 4-Person Scramble Golf Tournament (men, women, or mixed) at Lakeview Golf Course Sunday, May 21st. 9:00am shotgun start. Golf, pin prizes, food, and fun! Cash payback flighted. Door prizes for everyone. $160/team entry fee with mulligans and meal included. Open to the first 24 teams signed up and paid. Proceeds are used for the annual Crofton Community Club scholarships.

WJ Ranch presents Pam Tillis, Friday, September 8th at 8pm. Remember Pam's hits like "Shake the Sugar Tree", "Maybe It Was Memphis", "Don't Tell Me What to Do" and many more. She will be appearing as the "Pam Tillis Acoustic Trio". This female trio brings outstanding musicianship, instrumentation, and fantastic harmonies.

There will be 3 divisions in the contest:
Division1: Men who start growing their beards on Feb.1, 2017 (If you started on Jan 1, 2017 we will allow this also)
Division 2: Men who have had a beard previous to Jan 1 or Feb 1, 2017 and want to continue growing them.
Division 3: Men who choose to shave. These folks are required to purchase a "Shaving Permit" button for $5.00 which must be worn when "out and about" in Crofton. If you do not wear your button you are subject to arrest by the "sheriff and his posse" and thrown in the klinger! A $5.00 fine must be paid either by the guilty party or a friend (or foe if that works) before the hombre is released. Crofton's Q125 Store is open Saturday mornings from 9am to 1pm.
